March Newsletter
This month we mark the 4th anniversary of Loudoun Jazz Society. Four years ago, a group of ten musicians, teachers, and jazz lovers dreamed up some plans to make Loudoun County a destination for music. Two years ago, many of our plans were halted due to the pandemic. Now, some of our biggest dreams are finally coming to reality.
Save the date! We are partnering with the Cascades Overlook Event Center to present a new jazz supper club listening experience in Loudoun County. Our first show will feature the Eric Byrd Trio on April 28th. I hope to see all of you there as we celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month.
A local promoter is presenting a new jazz festival this summer. The Leesburg Jazz Festival will feature our very own Rob Maletick and other great smooth jazz artists. You can find more information below.
Many of your have asked how you can better support LJS. Expect an announcement in the next few weeks about our new donor platform and new ways you can give.
If you would like to volunteer to help at one of our events, email loudounjazz@gmail.com and we will add you to our volunteer list.
