December Newsletter
Can we remember our lives a year ago? Loudoun Jazz Society was unable to present any live events. Our live jazz calendar was empty. We were stalled. Slowly, we emerged. We began with an educational video series from Quentin Walston. In May, we witnessed the slow return of live music. Emboldened, we resurrected our jam session in June. Musicians have consistently turned out each month. The Loudoun Jazz Calendar is once again full. Although we can’t return to the way things were, we can continue to build meaning in our lives through live music experiences.
As 2021 ends, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Loudoun Jazz Society. Our all-volunteer organization depends on your support to continue enhancing the quality of life in Loudoun County through jazz. We hope to unveil some exciting new programs in 2022. I can’t reveal too much yet, but the variety and quality of live music experiences are sure to increase. Look out for some major announcements in the early months of 2022. And, be sure to join us for our end-of-the-year, holiday-themed Loudoun Jazz Jam at Chefscape on December 19th. See you there!
