The Grant MacMillan Trio is a straight-ahead jazz ensemble featuring many student and professional musicians, providing a unique and modern, yet accessible sound. The trio is comprised of guitar, bass, and drums, often with a featured soloist. Selections include arrangements of various jazz standards, popular music, and original compositions.

Every second Sunday of the month, Minton’s Academy of Music opens up our theater space for a jazz jam session featuring a house rhythm section and ample opportunity for musicians of all ages and experience levels to sit in.
