Graham Breedlove
Jazz trumpeter Graham Breedlove has performed on four continents in more than twenty countries, with headliners representing more than one hundred Grammy nominations. For nearly thirty years, Professor Breedlove was a trumpet soloist with the Army Blues jazz ensemble, part of The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” in Washington, DC, and he appeared as a soloist, composer/arranger, or lead player on seven recordings with the Army Blues.

Every second Sunday of the month, Minton’s Academy of Music opens up our theater space for a jazz jam session featuring a house rhythm section and ample opportunity for musicians of all ages and experience levels to sit in. It is always free of charge, all ages, with free refreshments for listeners and players. Piano, microphones, amplifiers, and drums are provided. Hosted by drummer Dan Perriello.
