Back by overwhelming popular demand, join us for an exciting night of music at the Battle of the Big Bands at Old Ox Brewery in Ashburn. Experience the awe-inspiring sound of big band jazz featuring three local big bands: the Loudoun Jazz Ensemble, Swing Shift, and the Franklin Park Big Band. The Battle of the Big Bands is sponsored by the non-profit Loudoun Jazz Society, which seeks to enhance life in Loudoun County, VA by supporting jazz events and music education. Get your tickets now, this event sold-out last year.
Tickets: $22 in advance, $25 at the door, students $10.

Minton’s Music Jazz Jam
Every second Sunday of the month, Minton’s Academy of Music opens up our theater space for a jazz jam session featuring a house rhythm section and ample opportunity for musicians of all ages and experience levels to sit in. It is always free of charge, all ages, with free refreshments for listeners and players. Piano, microphones, amplifiers, and drums are provided. Hosted by drummer Dan Perriello.
